Health and Safety is everyone’s responsibility, whether you are an employee or a director, a large company or sole trader.
You have responsibilities under the health and safety at work act 1974. Every year people are unnecessarily killed, injured or fined for ‘accidents’ that could have been prevented. We understand that if you are not in the health and safety industry, then it can seem like you are walking into a minefield, and this is where we come in.
There is nothing more important than your health and safety, so we are always proactive with our training.
Altta Health and Safety is a part of the Altta Group. We have been trading since 2013 and have built a strong reputation and brand around the Cambridgeshire area. We have also delivered training across the whole of the UK. Our health and safety instructors are all NEBOSH qualified and have the relevant industry experience in the ‘real world’ as well as training experience. As a training company confidentiality is a top priority to us but going from company to company, we see a lot of good and bad practices that help us to deliver realistic training.
We have been in this industry long enough to know that just the words health and safety can send a person into the deepest of sleep, but this is where we really shine.
Are we a health and safety professional? Absolutely. Are we instructors 100%. We are not your typical stuffy suit training company, where you are dictated to by a person who has never seen the outside world as they have only had their head in a book.
Our philosophy is to encourage the group to participate, although it may be a mixed group, we try to tailor the course to everyone. You can learn about health and safety from a book, but putting information across is a skill that takes years of practice. Our knowledge of health and safety, along with our years of training, really makes us one to beat.
We provide engaging and informative classes that get our candidates involved so that their training is more enjoyable and memorable.
Based in Peterborough, we have excellent transport links but are also willing to travel to a location of your choosing.
